Bruce’s distinguished career in physical medicine and rehabilitation has earned him a reputation as one of the most widely respected physicians in his field. As chief medical officer at the Kessler Institute and National Medical Director for Rehabilitation at Select Medical, he brings experience as a leading clinician, educator, researcher, administrator and advocate.
Considered a thought leader in his field, Bruce has presented hundreds of lectures throughout the world on various topics in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
As a researcher, he has held more than $10M in research and educational grants from the public and private sectors. He has also written or co-authored more than 40 articles in prestigious peer-reviewed publications and 28 abstracts. He is an editor of the standard medical textbook, “DeLisa’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation: Principles and Practice.”
Bruce also serves as a professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
