Description
Deon Senturk is the director of the Asia Pacific office at Talent Plus ®. Deon joined Talent Plus in 2014 and works to integrate Talent Plus concepts with client partners throughout the world. As Director of Business Strategy and Development, Senturk partners with Talent Plus clients to help them understand the philosophies of strength investment and The Science of Talent®.
Her work is concentrated on the hospitality industry, working with clients such as Mandarin Oriental, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and The Peninsula Hotels as she becomes a trusted advisor to top leaders in the area of human capital selection and development, strategic talent management planning and organizational behavior.
Senturk also works closely with client relationship managers who help ensure service delivery to Talent Plus’ client partners. She is a member of the team that leads the company in the exploration of new markets and service offerings, including strategic alliances with partners and other best-in-class solution providers.
Prior to Talent Plus, Senturk worked with Walter Junger & Friends Hospitality Consulting with Asian offices in both Shanghai and Singapore. As the director of sales and marketing, she was responsible for generating new business and developing strategic partnerships with hotel operators, interior design companies, landowners and developers of hotels and restaurants. Senturk has been a top sales performer in every organization with exceptional skills in global events sourcing, contract negotiation and project management. Additional experience includes a PR Consultant to British Artist, Hannah Stevenson, the Director of Sales and Business Development at Kairis Planning Network, and Creator and Co-Founder of Berry Patch People, LLC in Miami Beach, Florida.Her vast luxury hospitality experience also includes sales for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group,The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa, The Omni Hotel in Los Angeles, The Peninsula Hotel in Beijing and The Conrad Hotel in Hong Kong.
Senturk is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She currently resides in Singapore with her husband and daughter, Mia. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying healthy and active, whether it is playing tennis, Zumba or taking a yoga class to unwind.
