Description

Kent believes the key to a successful organization is employee engagement. He’s cultivated an engaged culture throughout his 35-year career with Idaho Central Credit Union. He joined ICCU in 1984 as the organization’s only data processing employee. Since 2007, he has served as president and CEO.

The credit union had just 25 employees and $30 million in assets when Kent started at the company. Over the past decade he has grown ICCU to over 1,200 employees and its portfolio from $600 million to $5 billion.

Team members have embraced his vision: ICCU was named one of the Best Places to Work in Idaho from 2013 to 2017. The organization was named by S&P Global Market Intelligence as Top Performing Credit Union in the U.S. from 2012 to 2016.

Kent was honored as Credit Union Executive Society (CUES) Outstanding Chief Executive Officer in 2013. He also was inducted into the CUES Hall of Fame in 2014.
